This instrument is designed to meet and exceed the needs of students and professionals looking for great sound from an American-built solid wood instrument on a budget without customization $7,500<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Domestic Sitka Spruce and American Poplar backplates in a clean design package, the Standard Carved incorporates the comfortable geometry and ergonomics from our finest models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UB Standard Carved concept is that of Juzeks from decades past, built anew with 21st Century advantages throughout. A no-frills, dependable and accessible working musician’s upright bass loaded with character and vintage tone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Standard Carved Double Bass is built on our Bohemian pattern with a string length of 41.5″ and a D neck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is our goal at Upton Bass to build amazing double basses known for the best sound, value and build quality. As such for those buying on a budget it’s very important that we match you with the best bass for your needs, or sometimes, send you off to save a little more $$. Financing is available at typical interest rates however our banks do offer secured loans and flexible payment plans. Ten to twenty percent deposit required to apply for financing <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are taking Hybrid and laminate model orders as of December 2024.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
